The service

As QHSE Manager at Benzlers, you will lead and drive the work with quality, safety, health and environment. You lead our work within our quality and environmental management system and drive and develop our sustainability work.

You will be a key person in our quality work and ensure that the company's products maintain the highest quality standards, as well as ensure compliance with relevant quality rules and procedures. You coordinate the work with customer complaints, communication with customers/sales/suppliers, and ensure that they are investigated and initiate improvements. You support colleagues in purchasing, production, technology and sales to produce the best quality for our products.

Regarding the work environment, you support operations around risk assessments, safety rounds and reporting/investigation of work environment incidents. On the environmental side, you are responsible for, among other things, our chemical list, with updated safety data sheets, as well as waste. You run and develop our sustainability work. You provide training and updates to the staff. To help you, you have an environmental technician in the organization.

Main duties

• Lead and run the work with management systems for ISO 9001 and 14001
• Support the business to meet goals and legal requirements
• Prepare, analyze and report data on QHSE issues such as complaints, internal deviations and work environment incidents.
• Internal audits
• Represent the department at internal meetings
• Run Benzler's sustainability work
• Follow-up in production
• Drive the work with continuous improvements

Your profile

You are committed, structured and driven and have a great interest in quality and technology. At Benzlers, the customer is the focus, and we value teamwork to achieve our common goals together. The position involves many contact points internally and externally, which requires high social competence and the ability to build professional long-term relationships. You are meticulous and structured with good analytical skills. Furthermore, you are development-oriented and like to see opportunities to improve processes and products.

You have technical training and a few years of experience in quality work in the manufacturing industry. Experience in mechanical transmission or a similar industry is a strong merit.

Competency requirements

• University engineering degree or equivalent
• 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
• Experience in business systems, if you have experience in Oracle, this is a plus
• Very good skills in Excel
• B driver's license

Meritorious

• Experience in the transmission industry
• Knowledge and experience in LEAN
